About Us

Growing up watching Eric develop close personal relationships with his clientele, Rick knew early on that he wanted to work in the tax preparation field to be able to build similar relationships of his own to guide his clients through the ever-changing tax landscape.  With the goal of establishing his own practice someday, he opted for the hands-on client experience at various mid-size firms in the Los Angeles area after graduating from UCLA.  Eventually, he and Eric decided to open Server & Associates as a full-time family operation to apply the strategies they have developed over the years to the benefit of their clients.

Eric spent the first 20+ years of his career in the entertainment business before being approached with a job offer at a Culver City accounting firm, hoping to apply the many years of industry experience he had accumulated. Over the last 30+ years, he has seen almost every situation imaginable and applies this knowledge on a daily basis to the clientele with whom he has developed close relationships. While a large majority of his clients stem from the entertainment industry, his book of business has branched out significantly to the fields of law, education, finance, real estate and many more.
